Shoot for 14-15 cruise and mid 11's in boost. You'll have to play with air bleeds in most carbs to get the cruise VS in power transition dialed in.
Also the power valve is usually what needs adjustment to richen up the "in boost" areas. Basically jet it NA on the 4 corners and use the PV circuit to add enrichment. Can also fudge it with a ton of meth injection.
