Default 6.0 which ebay twin turbo

Hey guys I have a 6.0l LQ4 gen 3 that has been ring gapped, and elgin 1840. Heads are a 706 with pac 1218. Have exhaust manifolds ready to accept twins. Will be getting a holley terminator x max. With a built 4l80E. Looking for 600 rwhp on a twin setup. These will just be used for maybe a year before I can choke up for precisions. So please help me. Daily driver so low end is where I'm looking. But I dont want to choke it at 5k rpms either.
Trying to keep the turbo cost down to finish the truck faster. Which ebay or china turbo?

I have the two eBay cxracing gt35s on my 5.3 I don’t mind them at all. Getting tuned very soon but just got off a dyno pull last night. Spool alittle slower than thought it would be. They prob would be awesome on a 6.0. t4 flange

Was your 5.3 stock? I was expecting more power. Was this a stock ECU?

this isn’t tuned. Just a basemap. However it just shows boost curve a bit. This 4th gear which is super long in this car and it 5spd. This motor is bored slightly over with 706 heads and btr stage 2 cam. If air fuel was good and timing was better I’m sure it would be close 500 or at 500 with the 10lbs boost. This build still brand new though. Hoping the spool gets better with the tune done.

Look for the GT3582... The T4's are usually twice the cost, which is a bummer. These are generally $140 shipped turbos in a T3. I'd almost say try the .84AR T3 as they are dirt cheap.

I have a set of the .68 T3's on my 5.3. It doesn't choke. Made 560/600ish on 11ish lbs (no intercooler) with a super mild GM hot cam only and low compression (241 heads). I run 19lbs now and its a monster.

Just have to search around to get the deals. That's the .82 T3. Mine were $250 each. I went with 64mm billet upgrades on the compressors.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Gt35-Gt3582...IAAOSwSSBehRB1

Found some .63 units for 138 shipped. The .82's I saw were bit higher. Just make sure they have the 61mm compressors and 62mm exhaust wheels and search gt35 turbo on ebay

That's a great vendor. You can get the billet wheel versions for that tho... Seems a little high. Not sure the billet wheels are good for much. I have no comparison. The only person to have ever seen them is me and you guys tho... THey make for a pretty picture but likely arne't worth the extra $ honestly. Hard to beat the $137 units. I know it sounds odd but I wish I would have went with my gut and bought 3 of them. Would have made for a unique setup! lol.

These are the ones I got. but in a .82. make a $500 offer for 2. They took mine. Rated for 1200 lol. I'm not buying that. But I can tell you mine aren't out of steam on 19lbs.

No play, been going strong for 3 years or so. The china gt35's have a pretty good track record. But I don't have a lot of miles on them either.

They do appear to have been balanced looking at the exhaust side. I wonder tough. I assume these are the cheapie base gt35 and were balanced initially. Then I suspect the "performance" companies slap a billet wheel and machined out comp. housing and go. I had also read that most of the CNC billet wheels are internally balanced pieces so it may not mater much. I slapped on a few 10 blade billet 75mm wheels on S475's with no balancing. They have held up for years in friends cars w/ no issues.

These are my t4 gt35s in pics I posted above on the 5.3, I think putting them on 6.0 would move the power to the left quite abit. We stopped at the 15psi but tuner said the turbos would’ve kept going. Car picked up about 50whp every 2 psi. I ended up paying $700 for the pair though and eBay doesn’t have the link for sale anymore. Most likely same turbos as the others oN there though.

556 on 10
600 on 12
668 on 15
this was on mustang dyno too.
EDIT: found link to turbos

You guys are awesome. This One is a little bit bigger than the 61/62 gt35 but it's close and comes with a 3" V band discharge and I think the slightly bigger wheel will help with the 6.0 and it's a t4. Let me know what you think

Those are bigger units and a P-Trim exh wheel. Won't be near as snappy and will likely make 1200 hp+. Not a "GT35" regardless of the title. Looks like a cool unit. but a def step up and them some form thebasic gt35
