Default STS cars lets see some pics!

I would like to see more pics of the install than STS has on their site.

The ones on their site look like it must have been the prototype.

Lets see some pics of your installs everyone!

At which point? There already has been a little discussion about this. In the front, the intake tubing goes under the K-member, which will put it 2-3 inches closer to the ground, but that is where your front tires are, so unless you straddle something in the road, it is not an issue.
It’s almost the same thing for the rear. The turbo sits real close to the rear axle, directly behind it, which is pretty close to your rear wheel diameter. Again, only way you would hit it is if you straddle something large in the road.
I hope that helps,
Paul

That is right, the lowest points are around the wheels and its not really lower than other stock underbody parts. The LT1 runs up before the k-member. I have run the system for almost a year now, one of the first F-Body testers, and only slightly hit once, and it was over a very bad train crossing, which bottomed out the whole car.

I really like the STS kit, except for the air filter location and the small diameter of the intake pipe. I would like to see some more pics as well.

well the size of the intake pipe is probably to reduce lag, the more volume there is to pressurise the longer it will take to happen.

What is the diameter of the pipe from the turbo to the intake on these kits? IS the turbo a standard off the shelf piece or is it a hybrid for less lag time?

No to which part, the sub-frame connectors or the LT's? I am going to use Jet-hot LTs with this set-up as I already have them on so I guess it would be an interference for the return tube and the connectors both being in the same location. What do you use for connectors then??? I don't really want to run to much power without beefing up the frame some how. Any suggestions?

It will not work with the SFC i have both the Jet Hots and the SLP SFC. I am having the driver side SFC removed when i get everything installed. But as far as the long tubes it should work...we will see how well when i get it installed on thursday and getting it back on sat.

Oh well, that option is out, unless STS makes kits that work with that combo...
