Turbocharged Goat?
I am thinking about turbocharging my GTO with a Texas company looking for a donar car. They want to use twin T44 turbo's. What type of power can twin T44 support?

Many of the big Garrett vendors state they are usually good for about 500-550 crank HP. I've seen quite a few single te-44 cars run mid-11's. I would say a safe estimate is about 350-400rwhp (20-25lbs. of boost) from what I've seen with my car. Double that and you're looking at about 700-800rwhp on the same boost. Good luck and let us know the results, it should be a nasty combo.!

I was told it eould be a 4 bolt flange T-44 and that it would be good for 1100 fwhp. I just wanted to see what others thought. I was running a used turbo tech t76 turbo kit before. But I am happy with my F1 blower. My GTO is everyday car and I dont want to turn it into my Camaro.

Evil, that is Pro Turbo's kit I assume you are mentioning. If not sorry to jump the gun...hehe. We are still working on the design of that kit and the options we are going to offer. We plan to use TE44's as the base, which are VERY popular turbos in the Buick GN world. They spool very quick and make big top end power. I have some pictures of the basic layout of the system. They are rated 565hp each, and are T4 framed turbos. They are basically ~60mm turbos. Give me a call if you need any details on the turbos or have any other questions about the kit. The kit will allow up to PT63's which are rated about 745hp each. The kit when all said and done should be good for ~1450hp with all the upgrades.
