Default Anyone run a single gt35 on a 4.8L?

I couldn't find anything in the search, so I figured I would ask.

As the title says, I am wondering if anyone has or is running a single gt35 on a 4.8L. I know it's usually seen as half a set of twins, but I am just looking for info on it being ran solo on an LSx.

Info of a single gt35 on a 5.3L is also welcome, but probably even harder to come by.

That’s awfully small but it would be light switch power. A friend of mine ran a single s366 on a 4.8 in his 69 camaro and it was instant boost and made like 450hp on 10 psi.

Thanks for the reply.

Do you happen to know how far it could rev before the turbo was out of steam?

It started to lay over above 6300 but it was an absolute blast to drive and with it turned up to 14psi it felt like it was making over 500-525hp. I have a 63 rambler with a 5.3 billet s475/83 that makes 640 on 18 psi and his car would jump out on me about a car length and stay there for about 330 ft then I would go around him pretty good but for a small single the s366 I feel is a great option for that 500-550hp crowd. Im sure if it had a bigger housing it would continue to pull up top. It was just that standard .91 divided.

An s366 and a gt35 are COMPLETELY different. A GT35 is too small for a single, period. GT45 would be fine.
