Default Cam swap? Btr/cam motion

So I recently put my car on the dyno and the guy told me the specs of the btr stage 2 cam created to much cyl. Pressure all at once for my setup.




im not fully informed when it come to reading cam cards. he told me this cam would be better because it has a wide LSA.https://cammotion.com/camshafts/tc-2...224-228-115-5/
Does this make a large difference?



there is 0 smoothness on. The zig zags are also in my boost line. The zigzags are what concerned him... I have changed my plugs and fixed a vacuum leak on the intake which was causing the wastegates to open/close rapidly. Now on the street the car pulls very smooth. So haven’t seen on dyno if the zig zags are gone.

the leak was the large nipple on pass side of intake near the TB. The cap flew off at some point so it was off the entire dyno session.

I honestly think it’s fixed. It felt like wastegates were opening and closing during boost after I left there. Now that I fixed the leak and new plugs it’s smooth again. So I’m thinking the leak was that zig zag. However the cam isn’t to expensive or hard to change if it’s a better setup. I’m just unsure if that’s worth even touching.

cars a gen3 and making 650whp right now on 15* once in boost. I’m assuming the meth is really holding it together with that timing going into my boost / tq curve. I’m going to leave car where it’s at with power until motor goes.

I just made 1060 wheel with a bullshit n/a LS1 cam .. its not the cam lol

The cam was not responsible for those zig zags at all. Changing the cam would be a waste of money for no real reason in my opinion.
