Big HP aster bracket users
Big HP aster bracket users Where are the aster bracket users that are making 1000whp or more? I am seeing the C5/C6 bracket users making over 1000whp, but not really the aster bracket. Is there a limit to it? I have been thinking of switching to a C5 A&A Bracket, but if the bracket and 8 rib can handle making over 1k then I’ll keep what I have.
We have made 926rwhp with a D1X Procharger w/ the Aster bracket. This was thru a TH400, steel driveshaft, 12-bolt and 28" tires on a Mustang dyno. Fbody/Aster bracket guys with 1K+ rwhp are very few and far between.
I did have the 8.65, but after talking to a few 1100whp users they were seeing flex at around that power with the bigger blowers so I just cut my losses and took it off and ordered all new A&A setup with 10 rib that just came in and I will be mounting it up top and all I have left to sell is my current aster bracket and water pump.
