Default Fuel pump with turbo

I putting a ls1 in an older mustang and I’m getting a factory like tank installed back in it. I think I’m going to purchase it through Tanksinc.com.
so the largest in tank pump they have is a 450 Lph pump. Says it’s good on applications up to 900hp.
I’m planning on having my setup with turbo on pump gas, maybe occasionally e85?? But 15ish pounds of boost. Do you think that pump would be enough so I can stay with factory type setup? Will be running a Holley terminator max x setup with 92 mm tb.

I've had them hang on for 6.0's on 13-15lbs on pump gas. But the "'ish" and "occasional E85" are what's going to drive you to a larger pump it sounds like. You can run a boost a pump to it to make it jam out a little more but you will still be limited.

You could likely throw in another pump on the hanger. Check to see what the hanger hat dimension is. You could also feed a surge tank if you really turn it up and need lots of fuel.

The pumps this company uses are walbro pumps. Trying to stay with internal pump. I think the largest they sell is rated up to 900hp. And I think it’s 140 gph. Do you think that enough for my setup?? I know Efi is more about pressure than volume but o don’t want to waste the money on that pump if I’m gonna have to have more.. I’d rather just get a larger frame mounted pump?

For 900 HP on E85, definitely go dual pumps. A single 450 isn't going to get you there.

Ditching the in tank crap and getting a brushless pump would be even better! I never want to deal with in tank pumps again if I can help it.

I wouldn't go with a company "kit". They charge an arm and a leg for those. Simple home made hanger in a fuel cell with 2 pumps works really well... AEM380s handle pressure better than the 450's (good for forced induction) can be mounted internally or externally as well.

A factory tank with a factory fuel pump filling a surge tank works extremely well and is dirt cheap by comparison. look into "surge tanks". 2-3 liter tank can be had for around $60. you can mount 2 external AEM 380's to it for around $300
