thermostat for ls on e85 with turbo im running a ls on e85 twin turbo with carb.What kind of heat do you guys like in the engine as far as buying a thermostat.Im just getting in the ls stuff and ran bbc all my life.Not sure if the ls engines like more heat.
Street car? Track car? Cooler the better when running it all out for track IMO. I run no thermo and plug the thermo bypass. Then use the fan to control the heat. I do like to let it get in the 210-220 range when cruising on the street and run really lean AFR's for idle and cruise. Helps burn the moisture out of the oil. E85's pretty bad at causing condensation... everywhere. If the temp never gets much above 200 change your oil often IMO.
