Do I need a catch can?

Catch can is kind of a filter before being fed back into the intake or somewhere else.
Breather can is just a catch can that generally does not have a filter/baffle system and has a breather on it that works as a regular breather but does not have a hose going back into the intake.
The breather you have i'm guessing is just a breather on the valve covers that allows the air to breathe from the engine unfiltered and unregulated from the oil.
Basically no you don't need a catch can unless your rules require it and/or you want to reduce the oil film from being built up in the engine bay.

If your using a PCV valve off a VC, its a good idea-I used a cheap oil sep, bet the VC and intake, and a ck valve so I dont blow boost back in the engine. I would see small amounts of oil in the sep, so it was catching some.
