Twins for 1st gen Camaro (VSR 62/62 DBB billet)
Im looking to get some turbos for my 67' Camaro. It currently has a ProCharger that I'm removing to change the setup. Its only a P1SC and I have it maxxed out so it at the point of lost efficiency.
Since I already have dual 3" exhaust I am going to go with twins for ease of fabrication, but Ill have to modify my tanks on my IC in order to have 2 inlets.
And this is on a SBC not an LS but I digress, it's a 355 SBC with lots of engine upgrades (rods, forged pistons Pro 1 heads, etc) and trans (TH400 in front of a 12 bolt w/chromo axle shafts), should handle 1000hp without too much trouble.
So been looking at turbo selection and VS racing seems to be the place for turbos.
I was looking at the 62/62 billet with .83 AR. using a smaller AR to help spool quicker, but I do have a 3200 stall so not sure that is necessary.
Has anyone else used these turbos as twins and how is it working? I looked on Youtube but didnt find anybody with twins to see any feedback or numbers on them.

Those turbos should give that stock block a workout. Our stock block 355 in NA trim makes low 500's crank. It's built similar to yours. So it shouldn't take much boost for you to reach your goal.

Thanks for the input! I was also thinking about running a 67/62, but Ill look into the 67/66 and see what options they have. Now I am also trying to figure out the best exhaust AR for my setup, looks like they have .81 or .96 options.
I used to have a Toyota 2.4L motor with a GT3076R using a .83 hotside and it worked great on that motor and being exactly half the size as my V8 it should probably work out pretty well.
Great thanks for the response. Thats what I am hoping!
