So if someone was building a turbo LS with Holley Terminator X, would the optimal MAP sensor be the Bosch T-MAP since you get the IAT as well? If so, is there a particular part number that would be recommended?

I am using the Bosch TMAP with my turbo build. I have a Holley Dominator ECU, so it is straightforward to program it. I am using the 3 bar sensor that Ballenger sells. They also sell of the connector kits.

Thanks much Andrew. Excuse my ignorance, but when you run a combo IAT/MAP sensor, how do you wire it into a Terminator X harness? There are separate MAP and MAT plugs on the harness. I'm assuming that the T-MAP sensor takes the place of both the MAT and MAP sensors. Do I just cut both MAP and MAT plugs off, combine ground wires, and run to the TMAP connector? Or is there a better way? Maybe butchering my harness is a bad idea?

I'm at the PRI show. PM me and I'll tell you how to wire it.

Post #2, https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/ltx-...lectrical.html

T-MAP pinouts are,
Pin 1: Sensors ground
Pin 2: IAT signal
Pin 3: Sensors +5V ref
Pin 4: MAP signal

Yes, cut the terminals off the wires at both MAP and IAT sensor. Run all 3 wires from MAP sensor to the T-MAP sensor and wire according the pinouts listed below. That will satisfy requirements for T-MAP Pins 1, 3, 4.

MAP Pin A: Ground ---> Pin 1
MAP Pin B: MAP signal ---> Pin 4
MAP Pin C: +5V ref ---> Pin 3

Then run the IAT sensor signal wire to Pin 2 of the T-MAP. You can abandon the IAT ground wire (Pin A) because it is redundant and is spliced to the same ground wire as used with the MAP sensor that you already relocated.

IAT Pin B: IAT signal ---> Pin 2

You'll need to go into software and input custom scaling for the MAP and IAT sensor. The scaling is shown in the link I gave above (which came from Bosch Motorsports website).
