Recommended top end for SBE Procharger

Default Recommended top end for SBE Procharger

I have a SBE LS1 with a cam that I'm procharging, nothing crazy, P1SC maybe looking to make 500ish to the tire on 93

There seems to be a lot of older threads on this topic with mixed opinions, so sorry to ask the same question again but I wanted to see what experience looked like these days.

With this setup, would it really seem important to run LQ4/9 heads? With or without swapping heads, will stock head bolts hold together?

What ever heads you currently own will work well at that power level for sure so save your money.

For the head bolt portion of your question, I think stock bolts will be fine at that power level.
You can always start collecting parts and pieces for more power while you enjoy the lower levels. (head studs, ported heads, etc.)

D1sc Procharger here, stock heads with double valve springs, stock ls6 intake, stock throttle body, GM Ls6 cam, 15psi of boost = 678 rwhp running out of fuel up top.

Save your money. Run a stock top end and let the blower do the work.

What pump and injectors are you running?

Are you running that on a SBE? If so, I'm curious if you would share some of your lower rpm timing table? I'm worried about folding up a rod on a SBE setup. TIA
