Cortex EBC Controller/Support Excellent Hello all,
I just wanted to share a recent customer experience I had with a product because I feel like its important to highlight positive experiences as well as negative.
Recently I purchased a pretty highly modified 1999 Camaro SS turbo car equipped with the Cortex EBC system.
Let me begin by saying there are A TON of features this controller can do, transbrake bump, boost control, meth control, boost by gear, boost by mph, the combinations are many.
The controller requires a laptop to setup which makes sense given what it can do, the instructions that come with the program are also very good.
The problem I ran into was setting up the COM ports using the USB port on my laptop, my port wasn't listed so I was unable to connect to the controller.
I played with it for a couple hours and got nowhere, on whim I emailed Cortex support fully expecting to not get a response but to my surprise, I was wrong.
Christopher with Cortex tech support responded within minutes with a suggested solution which I tried to no avail, I emailed back, within minutes another response with action to take.
Completed the steps and now everything is working perfectly, only took me about 20 minutes total.

Loved the Cortex BC when I had it. It can do so much for such a great price. The only con I can see is having to use a laptop to change settings but like you said, for everything it can do, it's really the only way.
man i wish these were around before I went holley. that was my main gripe with the Eboost controllers. 4 buttons to set 20 different features. I felt like my grandma trying to set a vcr timer.
