Map 2 bar efilive cos3
hope someone could chip in..
just installed a 2 bar map sensor
got on the box Auto sensor standard parts PRC, OEM LS 2 bar
Think it was sfi...?
Anyway with old sensor key on Map was reading 101kpa.
so installed new and key on with 190 in settings as per COS3 tutorials showed 81kpa....
210 showed 88 kpa.
240 showed 99 kpa.
245=101kpa as old stock 1 bar sensor.
Sometimes do they need that much adjustment?
hoping to drive it tomorrow to start logging

At -0.5 bar (half vacuum) the scanner reads around 50 kpa... Assume correct
At key on engine off no pump attached reads 101kpa... Assume correct
At 0.5 bar positive the V2 scanner only goes to 105kpa....Wrong?
In my previous logs looks like i am using SAE.MAP
I have the Flashscan set up for no laptop, so PIDS are in the scanner from using V8, see screenshot
Now, i read one post that the SAE.MAP without the engine running will only read up to 105KPA in efilive forum......? Is this true?
Have i got the correct pid in screenshot above as cant see any others....?
Want to get going on day off but problems problems....

thanks but have scaled MAP.
i will slowly creep up on boost and see when the engines running if it records over 105kpa.
Had a smokey smell and fumes around oil feed inlet into turbo so have nipped the flange up and the an4 aluminium fitting up for now hoping smokey goes.....

I use the fancy MytyVac that does pressure and vacuum. It’s quite accurate.
Not sure about EFI Live.
If you have a 3 bar COS, why not use the GM 3bar map from the LS9? Might need a pigtail, but it’s an excellent sensor.

i suppose how many people actually put a pressure signal from a handpump or compressor to test a map... i am guessing people just scale them and run them and log it. I might be trying too hard lol.

Thats why I bought the tool.
It’s very handy for checking all the vac/boost systems on turbo setups.
Have fun
I have to log the specific bar in options that car has AND delete the other bar on the list or it defaults to one. But this isn’t really EFI live specific.
