Cam is being questioned, It's in great shape, it's a elgin 1840p (585/585 228/230 112) but I might be looking to do something else while I'm in here we'll see, my converter stalls around 3600 so I have a little room. I could opt to tighten the converter as well, I think ~3000 would be good for this cam. I'm for sure going to swap out the PAC 1218 beehives for a dual spring setup. Rockers already have trunnions.
Also have to figure out which turbo, gonna stick with a T4 and a 3" down pipe with a cutout for now and see where I get. I was running an ON3 76/65 think I'll bump it up to a 78/75 with this rebuild. Plan to swap out my FWIC for a bigger unit (mine is a small $99 ebay unit that fit between my C10 frame rails under the bumper) cause I'm not sure it will support the flow requirements. I'll also add meth and ditch the MBC for a decent EBC..
Am I missing something? This seems like the recipe which is working for a bunch of folks.
