Default TruBoost AEM Setup

So first off yes I'm new, I've been looking all morning on how to work around my issue. I'm slowly building a turbo lm7 or lq4, already have the lm7 but if I get a lq4 over winter that's what going in. Borg s475 I wanna say 1.32 AR divided housing 83mm, hopefully that's right. I bought a electronic boost controller the aem one mentioned above. My turbo doesn't have the vacuum fitting on it, so where can I run the lines needed. I've read that right after the intake side of the turbo will work but I've only seen one person say that and haven't heard otherwise besides hook it up to the turbo. I'm new to building engines especially turbo stuffs. I'll make a thread for what I've done and what I'm doing if anyone wants to keep updated on it. Sorry for the long message and thanks for the help.

You can drill and tap a fitting in the compressor housing. That's really the best option IMO.

I have had that controller on my turbo'd Z28 since 2014 or so. Ive done like the other gentleman said (drill/tap the compressor outlet) but also have used a fitting on the intake manifold (after the throttle body of course). That's what I have now. The rationale being, you're reacting off what the manifold actually 'sees' after going through the intercooler, piping, etc. The choice is yours. Im sure there's arguments for both setups, but I have tried both. Right now, my 5.3, S480 102/92 divided housing T6 is set for 20 psi at the manifold. I absolutely love driving the car.

I think I'll run a fitting off the manifold cause I just don't trust myself drilling and tapping a fitting in the turbo. Going to look at a lq4 later today hopefully I can bring it home.
