cam choices Hi all
Read a million camshaft threads, and they always devolve into I did this, or that, or my buddy did this, or that on builds not even close to the original question.
I am building a race only SBE 6l with twin 7070s and E85 and square port heads, and need to pick a cam.
Looking at cam websites - many do not carry the multiple cams they did 3 years ago - thank covid for that I guess.
Who besides the big cam companies is out there these days BTR, Texas Speed and?
Are any of the smaller companies still specking cams for people - I didnt see anything on the BTR website for example and they used to - heck - couldn't even find a stage 4 cam anymore on there..
I would like the most robust cam I can install without going over 4k in my converter, or cutting valve reliefs.
Open to suggestions or pointers to a cam company to work with, if you don't have a good personal experience cam suggestion.
