Hi guys, I’m from the UK, need some advice if this has been done and if so how. I’ve got a Holden Ute, 5.7, which is effectively a LS6 with LS1 Heads or as you guys know a 2004 GTO. A guy here has a F1-R Procharger kit that came off his Gen5 Camaro. How difficult would it be to fit onto my LS1. I’ve heard it’s been done but Procharger reckon it can’t ?
If your car is the same crank offset as a 04 GTO the GEN5 Camaro kit will not work. They have the furthest offset like truck accessories. The GTO and GEN4 Camaro have the same offset. FYI, I’m selling a Procharger kit off my 04 GTO less the head unit in the FS section. You could still use the F1R head unit from the GEN V Camaro as it is standard rotation however would need to verify the oil slinger is in the correct orientation.
Take a pic of your car with the hood open. From what ive seen in the past the gen 5 camaro kits run the procharger on the top drivers side and the intake faces the driver.
If this particular kit doesnt work you can always buy the head unit and run an fbody aster bracket (contact bob @ brutespeed for info). Its a better bracket with more belt wrap and it puts the head unit on the bottom drivers side with the intake facing forward. I have this kit with an F1a on my 93 mazda RX-7 and had to tilt the radiator forward but it works.

Hi, I defo don’t have the room to mount low like yours. I’ve been chatting to Bob at Brutespeed and looks like I may have a solution. Th eggy here with the Camaro kit is including the damper which pushes all my accessory’s out of line so trying to figure a way out of buying a new damper. At the end of the day it’s the cost of getting stuff over to the Uk that is limiting me
