Default fuel filter help

i have a boosted 6.0 with a vs 88/103 t6 1.32 that did 875 at 19psi on e85 but ran out of pump. i am running the 4303 pump with weldon filters. 100 micron and 10 micron with stainless mesh filters. 12an to pump inlet 10an to rails and 8an return. pump is wired with 8 gauge wi1re. voltage was logged at 14 volts during pulls. logs showed 100% duty cycle and pressure dropping at 19psi

so i bought the aeromotive brushless variable 5.0 gpm pump and my question is are the filters i have now sufficient flow wise to work with new pump? or should i buy the aeromotive filters.

thanks in advance

Micron rating doesn’t have much to do with flow rating. I have a summit 10 micron cellulous filter but it’s a decent size filter and flows 150gph. But I had a old russel 40 micron which was a smaller filter and didn’t flow close to that. Match the flow of the filter to the pump and you’ll be fine. The micron rating is fine but they have to flow (surface area) otherwise they become a restriction.
