Ever thought of putting them out back in the muffler location? seems like alot more room there... If its a drag car there are ways to easily combat the slower "spool" time.

I thought about that, but seems like there's a lot more piping involved.

Def has its draw backs. I feel a big single would be better than twins in that application though. Long Straight(ish) runs of pipe are easy though IMO. It also keeps the heat out of the bay and shifts a bunch of weight to the rear. Can run the A2w IC back there aw well. Which can be beneficial. Can also make it like a modular unit in the back. Use its own oiling system, easy to get to/remove etc. Also makes working on the engine and removal easier. Seen a few really nicely laid out rear mount C5 setups. Big GT55 promod single back there would do ya right IMO!
