Thanks for link as well.
I change the oil in mine every summer and sometimes twice if I'm beating on it but even then, we're talking less than 1,000 miles in total.
Frequent oil changes can have the same effect and when you use something like Delo 15-40 it doesn't break the bank either.
Someone thought enough of the idea years ago that about every modern aftermarket piston today uses a single groove between the top and second ring to help alleviate the pressure build up (aka "flutter") the affects ring seal and combustion. Vacuum pump or PCV, they make power and improve combustion quality.

if you remove pcv then the oil will become dirty more quickly (pcv is a filtration process of keeping airborne contaminants from settling in the oil)
and as well with no plumbing of the crankcase fumes to be consumed then they will be emitted, which can be something people prefer not to smell, regardless of emissions
so what I came up with was the first hybrid (PCV can) that could increase the flow of the pcv system for beyond stock applications, without removing the pcv function I preferred myself, and removing oil that is consumed through the pcv
there are lots of other ways to do it, we also reinvented the breather tank a year or so ago for those who do not want / need PCV with a wet cyclonic full time vent tank called RACE
I put an XL size one of these on my personal c7z this past year since it only moves maybe 10 miles a year now (runs only methanol) going beyond 1500hp on the original engine.
it is very common to spend more in several directions / stages "saving money" before getting to us
our goal is a one stop shop to provide the final, guaranteed solution
separate from that, when the throttle body is pressurized, then the clean air source for the pcv system must be moved to pre-boost, or to an alternate, preferably filtered air source
without regulated intake manifold vacuum application to the crankcase, and without clean air being flushed through the crankcase, to constantly replace the foul air being drawn out, you do not have a pcv system

The only thing it ever collected was the white gunky build up that would have been left in my valve covers lol.
