Isn't that called a Shogun front end or something? That TA's front end is interesting but has too much going on for me to like it over the stock rearend. I cut my front bumper for my FMIC and the only way to improve upon it IMO would be to cut it out wider and mold in a lip the way around to make it look OEM.

yeah i really like the style with the front bird part cutout and the foglights removed...then the intercooler is mostly exposed to the air...but imo it looks much better than anything i've seen here

Hear is an opinion from someone who has built and designed body panels.

Minus the fog lights this looks very close to the Anniversary TA that GM had scheduled for 2004 as a prototype that was on display at the Hot Rod Power Tour. If you left the factory head lights and left off the fog lights or went with something a lot smaller like a projector light, this has possibility. For those that missed it, you cannot cut out the center section because then it would be closer to a camaro, and that is what it is not, nor did he want it to be. If you go back and look at the older pontiac Trans Ams, the dual open split grill upfront looks very close to this, so it is a very nice transistion for the 98-02 TA. The only thing it is really missing is grills up front.

Ditch the wierd headlight go back to the popups
Ditch the fog lights or go with some type of projector beam like, smaller HID system
Put the grills in,
and you have a nice retro look for your new TA. Especially if you have an intercooler up front.

On mine I cut out the center section where the bird was and put in a grill. Went with a smaller brighter light than those wanna be's that came from the factory.

If you built this, good start.

I have detailed pictures of this car, I can send them to you if you like, email me your email address. The spoiler does not look hard to recreate. if the person who created the bumper that you showed, created it, he could surely create create the spoiler. I am picking up mine today from the paint shop. I had my Mecham hood installed and painted. It looks absolutely Bad A@@. I will send you pictures of it also.

I agree, that is a BADASS front end and spoiler.

Back to the original topic though, wouldn't it be a little easier if you used a firebird/formula front bumber, that way the foglights are not an issue.
