Electric boost controller reference point vs wastegate.

Electric boost controller reference point vs wastegate. Trying to dial in the boost controller on a twin turbo ls1 996 I have. I previously referenced the twin gates from a single source after the throttle body in the intake. The boost controller is referenced at the same place.
I understand that referencing the gates after the throttle isn’t the greatest idea, so I’m goin to reference the boost solenoid from right after the turbo before the intercoolers (two), but it would be difficult to do the electric boost controller to the same point.
The two questions I have are
1) Is it a good idea to tap both turbos for the waste gates and tee them together to the solenoid, or can I reference just one side?
2) can I leave the reference for the dash control unit of the boost controller on the engine side of the throttle body, or should it be referenced from the turbos before the intercoolers as well?

I always tap my compressor housing as the reference for WG and Boost controller. Be mindful of pressure drop through the IC etc. No need to tap both as long as the turbo manifolds/headers are roughly the same and not in totally configuration. Use a single turbo as the reference for the controller and then have the controller control both WG's. I try to keep the reference for the gauge and the WG at the same point or vicinity.
