^^^ He's right.
Gen 4 5.3 is ideal but even the Gen 3 can take quite a bit of abuse.

I have the kit on my camaro, put down 600 whp on a mustang dyno at 10 psi. It works but as mentioned the headers burn up spark plug wires if you don't take care in running them just right. I actually had to buy some accel spark plug wires with ceramic ends and that seems to have done the trick. Best run so far is a 11.1 @ 128 mph, granted my car is a 6 speed manual so that's probably slowing me down some.

that’s hilarious. When I put my turbo on my car (gto, stock 5.7) it went 11.10 @ 128 on 10 psi.

I had a stock clutch in for some of those failures... But most were with a Monster Level 3. My Camaro snapped a couple of axles real quick after going to the Spec 3, lol.

got a whole build on this one. fitment isn't really an issue, it's the damn plug wires that you gotta figure out. get a set if extra 3.0" vband clamps cause the ones they give you are so damn tight, it gives you little to no room to thread them on.
A gt45 sits on it nicely. about to test out my new VSR 7875 on my car once i finish building the lq4.
it's a good starter kit, but I will agree that Huron has the better all around fitment and foresight in installation. if i could figure out how to hybrid their turbo manifolds to the rest of my merge pipe, I would if it did require me yanking half my car apart. I've been tempted several times to just put down on their hot and cold pipes. still might lol

dont get me wrong, the cxracing kit put a smile onmy face everytime i put the hammer down, but theres just something ho ge said about putting a complete kit together and not having to "make it work" thats nice like Hurons.
