Here is my formula. Been awhile since I wrote it. And I was told there would be no math.......
Sadly HPT won't let us copy this.
Hope it makes sense

Excellent, thank you Ron!
That equation worked, so I'm seeing 9.74% slip at the top of third at 15.8psi just before I lift off the throttle so not too bad.
Now obviously this only applies to third gear as first and second are different ratios correct, otherwise I have a ton of slip in first and second lol.
It's interesting how shift drop increased but slip on top also increase by about 2.4%
Will slip steadily increase as power is increased or could the increased power enhance coupling and reduce slip?
Either way I'll find out, just curious what others have seen.

This is where a quality converter shines. It should clamp no matter what, however, we typically see shorter shift exchanges as power goes up. I see roughly 1-2% slippage right before the shift and it’s crazy loose down low. I street drive my car a ton with a 1.80 glide and a 17-0 converter. When I take off easy it sounds like a clutch starting to clamp down.

Sweet. You're welcome.
Correct, it only works in high gear. It's interesting to watch that line come down with rpm.
