Default 72 RivieraTURBO choice

Hi all
Have a 72 Riviera with a 475 fwhp LS2
4l80e with a Protorque 3200 stall converter with a 3.5 9"out back
Thinking it's time for a Turbo I'm thinking S400 75mm comp 83 turbine (single) looking to make 800 ish at the flywheel
I've researched the **** out of it but can't decide on which exhaust housing would be best for my street driven car !!
Does anyone have a similar build or some solid advice . BIG thanks for your time John, Liverpool England

If 800ish hp is all you'll ever want, then I'd go with a smaller billet 7875 turbo from VS Racing or similar.
Easier to package, costs less and will hit your goals easily.
If 800hp is your starting point with more in the future, then go with the T6 variant of a S4xx with a 96mm turbine.
You can start small with the S475 w/ the 83mm turbine and the beautiful part is when you want more and that turbo is insufficient, a larger S484 with the 96mm turbine will bolt right in.
I'm running an S484 w/ the 96mm turbine on my LS1 and TH400 trans and it doesn't take much to get it rolling, a little footbraking while rolling and it lights off fast.

Default A.r

VS racing is well advised but by the time I get one imported it adds up to s fair cost
S400 compressors are cheaper by a good amount
I don't want the car to come on too early so I'm guessing the t4 divided at 1.10 a.r
( T6 means bigger exhaust pipe which is like to avoid ) ?

The t6 1.32 is the move. And I'd skip the s475 and go right to the s480. In my experience the 80 spools the same as the 75. You also want the biggest downpipe you can fit. I don't like smaller than 4". I like using cutouts for quiet street cars, but all my cars get fender or hood exits

Raw doggin in the Rawviera, s475 is all you need and it’ll be more fun around town than the s480

Agreed on the T6 S475/S480.
4" down pipe to the cutout and neck it down from there to the mufflers for street use.
T6 is just the mounting flange type, yes its larger than a T4 but you want that because LS engines move a lot of air and your upgrade options for T6 are way more plentiful than T4.
Also, if you can swing a billet wheeled version that is the way to go.

Where are you located? I can usually ship anywhere on the globe without ridiculous shipping costs.
