Vortech v1 Just curious if anyone has any pics with a passenger side mounted vortech supercharger, CW rotation. I'm looking to do an old school V1 S trim on a 5.3 LM7 in a 1953 belair.
The only passenger side superchargers that ive seen are the procharger and torquestorm. Theyre usually reverse rotation unless they are the 2010 camaro ls3 style where the filter goes towards the cabin (they possibly offer vortech options so id start there first) the air filter goes directly above hot headers which is not ideal. If you find other alternatives please post them as id like to have a vortech over the procharger due to the shared engine oil and coolant ports.

I've actually ordered a passenger side mount bracket kit for use with the head unit I've got. I'll post up progress as it goes. The head unit is an old vortech V1 s trim most likely from a foxbody.

Well, I've finished up the V1 installation on the 5.3. Also aligned all accessories pulleys. The ready to run blower bracket was a joke. The brackets themselves were solid, but mounting holes on the engine side of things were off centered a little, bushings were too long, bolts missing. The main blower bracket was .500" thick, a standard V1 only has .470" to .480" clearance between mounting bosses, so part of the mounting face had to be milled. We also had to mill out a place for the oil feed fitting.
