Default LS2 single turbo newbie

Meant to start the build months ago but got hit with job layoff..back on it now
So have an S475 cast wheel 75/ 83 with 1.10 T4
My engine was built with an LS7 cam and lifters and 'uprated rocker arms ?' ( that's what it says on the build notes)
It made 470 hp on the engine dyno with long tube headers but made 431crank hp on the rolling road with Chinese short headers..Car is a 72 Riviera with a pro torque 3200 converter in a 4l80e rear is a 9" with 3.50 gears
Looking to make a realistic 600 hp at the wheels .How far will I need to go with ring gap, cam etc if at all... will go with an adequate air to air inter cooler..using 98 pump gas and the tuner knows his stuff ( he's built himself a 1100 hp 2.0 litre Renault Clio running 48psi !!!!
Also I am in England parts are not that available and are expensive

Current cam and 15psi (or a little more) probably gets you there so I wouldn't change that right away.

Stock cast exhaust manifolds with 2.25" piping into the turbo will support 1000rwhp+++++. That turbo won't even be in its efficiency range yet at 600rwhp but should have no problem doing it. A single 45mm wastegate or 60mm would be fine to control boost pressure placed properly TreadStone is a step up from CXRacing intercoolers if you want to spend a few more dollars. The 3.50 gears with a 4L80e will be great for it.

The only thing you have to do now is drink less Guiness and get to work That engine bay is enormous. Should be no issue making all this work with plenty of room to spare. .026" ring gap should be just fine. The LS2 rods are good for 900rwhp+ on a good tune. LS9 head gaskets and even factory bolts no problem at your power level. I would run an IWIS timing chain and new front cam retainer plate (the oil seal on yours is 20 years old... replace the front/rear crank seals while you are at it and the rear oil pressure galley "dumbbell." 98 octane in the UK is equivalent to about 93 octane here in the USA... which isn't the greatest for boost... low boost it will be fine... but if you really want to make some power and find out the limits of that turbo you need waaaaay more octane and injectors/pumps to support it. e85 is about 104 octane (USA)..... which would be around 110 UK
