2006 silverdo supercharged misfire/studder

Default 2006 silverdo supercharged misfire/studder

I have a 4.8 torqstorm supercharged silverado on 14 psi has a weird misfire only between 2000-3000 rpm under light load around 80 to 90 kpa before boost. Its very faint but you can hear it in the exhaust. It can go for a day or 2 before it ever happens and doesn't do it again for another couple of days. No misfire at idle or wot truck runs awesome besides this.

4.8 on 14psi
btr centrifugal supercharger cam
DeatschWerks fuel injectors
DeatschWerks fuel system adjustable regulator
Tr6 plugs gapped gap.035

try a colder plug and see if it helps. on my procharged 4.8 (approx 15lb boost and sometimes sprayed 100+ shot) i was running br7ef gapped at .030 worked really good for me. another thing to look out for is a bad intake manifold gasket through the years i blew a couple out .

Thanks I thought about the intake gasket I sprayed around it with brake cleaner but didn't get anything and I'll try a colder plug also

You were sparying 100 shot with your supercharger Ive rwally been considering putting a kit on my truck

mine was a ly2 with 799 heads and tbss intake manifold, 3.2in pulley and actually it got sprayed 150 sometimes but 100 most the time. also had 4.88 gears and 3600 converter. just a n/x proton shark nozzle set up in the intake tube. now mind you my tunner is really good and would tune it on the far side of safe. on the intake gaskets the best ones i liked was the metal surrounded ones not the plastic ones. supper easy to do taking your time like 1.5hrs.

Thanks I do all my work myself including tuning I've just been stumped over this small cutting out that occurs because everything is 100% correct and the truck runs to good to be anything wrong it's just a small issue under light load. Doesn't do it all the time and you have to catch it at the right time
