Should I go catless on a pd blower car?
I noticed the cats do get alot more hotter than the rest too...
My opinion, once you get over around 600 wheel it might be best to go catless.
I can honestly say I've never heard of anyone with custom built stuff running cats on 1k wheel horsepower.

OP could add cutouts too.
Whatever restriction you have on the backside is going to create more boost and intake air heat on the front side.

But, factory take-off cats are available from people who remove them for noise or ignorance purposes.

I run my turbo LS9 RX-7 on e85 no cats.... and it isn't too stinky... but cars on unleaded smell so bad to me without cats. On my LS7 RX-7 I run dual high flow Random Technology cats and it still does 111mph 1/8 and 138mph 1/4 on the motor thru them.
