EBC duty cycle.
I've been trying to adjust my GoFastBits EBC to get 15 lbs and was curious if that's possible with my WG and 8lb springs. My car has the Huron twin kit with 6766 T4s and the standard 45mm WGs. I'm at 70% duty cycle and at 12 lbs now. Should I crank it up more to get to my goal of 15 or am I too high on duty cycle? Does running that high of Duty cycle have any negative impact? I do have the smaller 3 lb helper springs available if needed. Thanks.

Turn it up ! I'm single turbo and with just under 7lbs controller off , 15.5lbs at 78 ish DC with a aem tru boost. Been doing this for yrs with no issues. Varies a little with atmospheric conditions and did hit 18lbs by accident once, going to be turning it up this year

Just be aware that most solenoids are basically done around 80% duty cycle and going above that it won't really do anything. You can stretch the reactive duty cycle a bit by using a lower frequency but that is also limited in what it accomplishes. I don't recall what frequency the GFB uses though nor if it's adjustable...

On top of the electronic variables there's mechanical differences that will have an effect, such as gate size and placement, backpressure vs boost pressure especially when using boost pressure to feed the solenoid. I have no idea what frequency the AEM uses 🤷♂️
