Default How would I got about boosting an L33?

Hello, I'm sure there's millions of posts on this subject, but none of them seem to have direct to the point answers.

Ive got an L33 in my '77 Nova mated to a CD009 transmission.

Im looking to boost the motor to make around a reliable 500-600hp, I'd like the boost to kick in around 3k RPM as I would like no boost below this for cruising around town.

What exactly would I need to do? What size turbo? How much would I gap the ring? What camshaft? What springs should I upgrade too? etc.

Ive never boosted an engine and I would really like some build info.

Thanks in advance!

How many miles are on it, ring gap may be fine. A simple 78/75 will make 600+ Tick performance stage 1 turbo cam kit, will also support your 600hp and keep its street manners. Get the whole kit, springs, gaskets, ect.

Summit ghost cam, 78/75 with the 1.25 AR, gap rings to 24/26, will get you where you want to be. Great drivability out of boost.
