Default Boost rated vacuum caps?

Rookie question, I know, the silicone caps I put on the 2 nipples off the throttle body didn’t last the first outing at 7psi. I could just stick some hose on the nipples and put bolts in them but looking for any other options

It’s not the issue of staying on, it’s the blowing the end out. I’ll try another with a ziptie instead of a hose clamp

You could put RTV in the cap then shove it on to really plug it up. Then secure with a zip tie. I've done this before to make it a semi permanent plug.

I think you're plugs are old and rotted.
I went and bought some AutoZone rubber vacuum caps and zip tied them on and never had an issue up to 16 lbs.
Know plenty of guys running twice that and never had an issue.

Possible, I went and got silicone caps after reading somewhere about them holding up better.

If you’re having trouble with soft caps, it only take a few minutes and a few dollars to get a tap that directly threads the ID of the nipple and some grub screws threaded in with sealant.

It is also not that hard to plastic weld nylon. Could just permanently close up unused ports.
