Default 2000 Trans Am build advice

I'm looking for suggestions and experiences for this build. I'm ready to order parts and figured I better get some more advice. Car will be 99% drag at a track. I'm looking at a short block 388 or 427 from either Texas speed or ATK elite series. PRC 260 CNC with custom cam. T6 single or twin kit from Huron. Coan TH400 and converter. Either a MWC 9" or a S60. Tick A2W intercooler. Holley management.
Anything you would change? Any advice?

I think you might want to consider a bigger turbo. My brother has the Huron t6 kit and he just went 5.65 at 128 with a 91/104 on 17lbs with a shitty 1.39 60ft. He has a 416 with PRC cathedral heads.

How much does he have left on the table? 17 lbs is pretty low isn't it?

He has a lot still, he was going to turn it up to 24lbs but the track kicked him out. What I’m saying is it’s better to have a bigger turbo and keep your boost as low as possible and still run 5s vs a smaller turbo and running 20+ lbs to also run 5s. He ran 5.82 at 123 on only 11lbs too

I got ya. One thing I will be battling is altitude. Local track is around 5100', next closest track is 5000', and the only other track that's close is 6600'.

388"
91/102 T6
MWC 9"
Local guy did twin S476R's on a 388 and made 1,400whp at 25-30ish lbs. iirc.
Not sure how the altitude would affect this, I'd definitely speak with someone who has run in those conditions.

I don’t have any experience with that kind of altitude. My brothers 416 spools his turbo up pretty quick.

I just got a 388 and going to put truck flow 245s on it. I went with the Huron t6 kit and 94/104 turbo.

I have a friend who is 3400 raceweight, sea level, 370, LSA heads, Borg Warner FIS 94/104 (formerly a Bullseye 83), and he's been 8.20@167 with more left in it, decent 60 foot ~1.25. I had another friend with a 4th gen with who ran a S491 (don't recall engine cubes) but he ran around a 5.00 in the 1/8th which would correlate to 7.8-7.90s. This latter car ran in the Chicago area, so 800 feet above sea level. Just to give you an idea.
