What is your goal for 2025?
I don't have any huge goals or aspirations.
I would like to put my car back on the dyno for maybe a little redemption lol. I think we're missing 50 to 100 rwhp. I have some theories to test plus we changed the cam to a much larger cam.
I haven't been to any of our drag strips since around mid 2004. I wouldn't mind making a return just for the fun of it. Test and tune stuff. I don't know if I'll ever do a points series again.
It would be fun to see if I could get my C5 into the 10s. (I am a horrible stick shift drag racer)
It would be fun to see if I could get my Ranger into the 12s.

Well, the WS6 T/A is ready for its 1200+ RWHP pure roll racer set up.......only drive it on planned fun days.
Move into the world of AWD with either a BMW M3 modded to 800-900 AWHP......or a Mercedes E63 AMG S with the 900 HP Weistec twin turbo upgrade package.

Get my junky old '95 Formula out that has only 6051 miles and put the 2nd gen small block deep into the 9's

I really like this post. Interesting to see!
We have a few goals for the car.
I think that all means I gotta get out in the garage and finish the wiring monstrosity I have going lol
We have a few goals for the car.
- Get it caged and interior put back together. (Stockish with Kirkeys and some nice creature comfort upgrades. While still saving weight.)
- Put on the f1, add intercooler, and retune
- Go no prep racing and dial the car in.
- Be ready for War in the Woods 2026

Finish installing the Haltech Rebel LS and intercooler
Dial in boost control and traction control
Put it on a dyno
Get kicked out of at least 1 dragstrip
Long Haul the 2025 HRPT
Drive it about 7,000 miles

Blistered and ruined tires, fried brake pads and rotors, cooked brake fluid, cones melted to exhaust components and smoked clutches.
I'm sure some of this can be mitigated but it only took a few times for me to realize it's quite costly, more so than drag racing imo.
AutoX/Road Racing sounds fun until you actually do it realize just how much it costs.

I had bought a brand-new set of Nitto NT05's and they were cooked after a couple sessions which probably had more to do with my driving than anything.
My biggest problem was staying securely in the seat, it's incredible how when you get your car to a high level of handling, a well-fitting and bolstered seat becomes an absolute must.
Sorry John, I'll stop clogging up your post now.
Just hit our goal only a few weeks into 2025, take the #1 spot for the fastest C7 Corvette in the 1/4 mile with a 7.325 @ 195.62. Time to see if we can go faster at TX2K25 with it in March. There are a couple of heavy hitters finishing up their builds that should go faster but they are all solid axle 4 link conversions so that really puts them into a different class in my opinion as it's no longer stock style suspension/chassis.
I'd like to go a bit faster on my C6 Z06 as well, we'll see what that brings at TX2K.
I want to start/finish my 87 IROC project with a 6.2 LT with 10 speed swap, finally have acquired all of the parts and hope to start on that in a few weeks.
