Default Belt slip issues?

Wasn’t sure where to put this? But i have a procharged 6.0 in my trans am. I’m not having blower belt slip but the accessory belt is slipping causing the alternator to drop voltage while above 4500rpms and it’s making issues tuning the car because it’s messing with the injectors. I had a manual tensioner and switch to a HD spring one which helped but still having issues. Any advice or ideas is appreciated!! Thanks

Is it using stock accessory belt routing or did you change it?
Is it only slipping on the alternator?
How much belt wrap around the pulley is there?

it’s the stock routing besides no ac anymore. Pretty sure just on the alternator and there isn’t a lot of wrap on the pulley. New belt and new alternator since my PS pump took out my old one

Stock LS1 routing is actually a decent amount of alternator belt wrap. Did this issue exist before your PS pump blew and took out stuff? I assume it took out your alternator by dumping PS fluid all over it and gunking it up.

Are you sure the belt is actually slipping?
The factory alternator is barely adequate when the car is stock and shuts off at high rpm.
I'd highly recommend upgrading to a truck style alternator, its tight but the 160amp Escalade unit will bolt right in with a little tweaking of the P/S lines.
If the belt got doused with fluid, then its junk and if fluid went into the alternator, it could be collecting dust and holding in heat.
