Default Turbo opinions. Thank you

I currently have a Procharged (D1SC) 408. I am installing all of my drivetrain in a 65’Chevelle. I am looking for opinions on a good street twin setup. I am currently around the 700hp mark and would like to be 800-950ish with the twins. I have been looking at VS Racing on their ball bearing 62/62 .83ar v band or a 67/66 T4 .81 or .96 ar. I would appreciate any advice you have learned from similar builds or recommendations you may have. The car is M6 as well.

I am not really set on anything. Just looking for advice as this is my first turbo build.

In that case I enjoy the simplicity of a single turbo setup

I agree - these newer turbos light off so much faster, even ones that support 1,000+HP

I would look at a G35-1050 or a nice clone like the RHP1050 https://richardholdenerperformance.c...l-bearing-copy

Exactly. Twins are just 2 of every problem. I have before and would again ONLY do twins out of packaging necessity.

Keep the Procharger and just get a bigger head unit?
A D1X or F Series should meet that need and be way easier to package, don't know if the bracket would be the same or not.

I was thinking maybe upgrade your D1SC to a D1X, not sure what it costs though. I had a bigger single on my 65 Buick Special, 6.0, 4" ex. to the back, never dynoed it though, but I would imagine on corn it would have been in the 800's.

This guy would get my vote with the smaller 1.15AR for faster spooling with the six speed.
Should comfortably make 1000hp on pump gas no problem which would come out to about 850hp at the tire.
Trust me, 850whp with a six speed is gonna be a serious handful.

Why not buy F1 blower for car ? if setup is good and works F1 is good choice.
