Default Twin scroll turbo

Anybody have a strategies for setting up a single twin scroll 88mm on a 5.3 G body street car?

Pairing up the proper cylinders to feed it doesn’t appear to be a realistic option.

Cam spec suggestions, exhaust, and any other tips would be greatly appreciated.

*Less than ideal overall, I know, but it’s what I’ve got.

Technically, it would have to depend on the amount of space you have to work with. You would likely need a good amount of space to route the individual runners to make firing order. Most people feed one bank to each sides of the turbo. If space is real limited, merge both banks pre turbo and then a single pipe the the exhaust housing.

I ran the BTR stage 2 turbo cam on my old 5.3 setup. It worked well.

Yes. I was thinking even in a full on race car it’d be a challenge to route the proper exhaust. Unless it was out back or something.

Glad to hear that just feeding it from each side still worked well. I wasn’t sure if it would be a lost cause.

I’m guessing that dual waste gates would be the way to go for that?

you can try a single 60mm gate close to the merge at the turbo but dual wastegate would be ideal if you are trying to have the most control

Yep that's the way mine is set up. I don't run a wastegatge so it's easy.
