Ehh I don't know, a friend of mine had a fox body with a 460ci that went 11.0's at like 120mph in the 1/4 iirc. He had a professional aluminum wing built for it and he said it really improved stability on the top end.
If you're planning on 130mph in the 1/8, I'd at least be considering one, plus they look really cool lol.
I want one but then my car won't fit in my garage.

In 67 I bought a new Camaro, 396/375, 69 I bought a new Nova, 396/375, always wondered if they were still around. I raced the 67 in stock and super stock, guy I sold it to raced it, then I lost track of it.

forcd is your name Jim, I know we are connected on FB.

If you have the VINs I could help check. I never kept any paperwork in the past. I had a '68 Chevelle SS that a buddy later owned and he told me it was an L78 car. Back when I owned it in the early 90s it had a smog small block.

I know the Banana was a basic small block marina blue car, all of the interesting history starts in the 90s when it got the chassis work.

I bought a '67 trunk lid (no holes) a few years ago and it almost made its way on the car but it's noticeably heavier.

I think I can get this thing to 3050 raceweight between the LC9 block swap and a SRC front steer rack and column. But it's still gonna have a purple trunk lid lol.

Lol yeah.

I was at World of Wheels today hanging out and one of my local friends, his first question was whether I painted the trunk lid lol. Now I never will haha.
