FI Tech engine management system.......anyone use it?

saying best tuner is like saying best chef. there wont ever really be one 'best' but many that are equally great, and many of those you likely havent heard of. the car owners willingness to just listen and follow the tuners direction will play just as large of a role as the tuner themselves. pick someone, follow their advice, dont go asking 15 other people for their opinion on combo.
also, these days 0411 belong on stock or very mild motors only. too many good alternatives now.
on the topic of original dash, your ws6 communicates through vpw/J1850, which is a single wire interface. no aftermarket ecus can communicate using this protocol so you would need some sort of adapter box, i think pete did one. i started making one but realized it was a waste of time. even getting a translator box still leaves you with the oem inaccurate gauges and very limited channels. a new dash from holley or haltech or anyone will be fully customizable and you can add in all the extra channels that are useful in a performance app. theres lots of guys that specialize in making themes for them to replicate the aesthetics of factory dashes.
