Default Some changes........

I sold my d-1sc kit, head unit and all to a member on the board.....I ended up letting it go for around $2700, talk about a smoking deal

Anyways......my Griffing FMIC should be here next week, I'm waiting on the cash for my current procharger stuff to go and purchase an F1 blower with it....This will go on my current SD setup w/the 3.4" pulley.....this blower has a 5.0 ratio, so with my current 7.25"/3.4" setup I'll be putting the blower 500rpms below its 70,000 max at 6500rpms.......should be an interesting combo.....I'm going to tune on 100octane and I'm sure I should see even more boost with this I'm hoping for anywhere from 15-18

This should happen in the next week or so

I might also be sneaking a 236/242 .600/.610 114lsa cam in along with this too.....

My only concern right now is my converter....I think it might have some issues like I was stating before, but we will look closer at it when it dynos....we will be able to tell better there.......

Stay tuned

Eventually Jim, now that I got a pulley setup that works I'll stick with it for a bit...

30th t/a is the guy who is buying my kit, so I'll have him PM you about it if he wants it...

I was doing some thinking........with my pulley combo.......

Currently w/my D-1SC I was making a solid 11-12psi through the stock twin intercoolers
This is with my 7.25" crank and 3.4" blower pulley setup......My Griffin FMIC identical to PSJ's should be here this week hopefully.........seeing what jeremy did, I can only assume that would put me right around 16-17psi with that setup........that would be PERFECT with the D-1SC setup and exactly what I was looking for......

BUT.....

I'm now switching over to a F1 blower, which has a 5.0 ratio compared to the 4:1 of the D-1SC, if I keep this pulley combo I'm w/the front mount that will put me well over 17psi........I'm most likely going to trade my 3.4" for a 3.7" to knock it down some.....

Anyone have some thoughts on this or what might happen with the new setup??
I don't want to strap it down and deal with 20psi

What injectors are you going to run? What pump setup do you have now?

I would be worried about maxing out the injectors!

Try the pulley combo you have, run 110 unleaded and spin it to 5000rpm on the dyno *(use a shiftlight so you can let off as soon as it lights up) and see where the boost is.

Work your way up the revs if the boost isnt insane

Cam choice will bleed off a bit of boost as well but you will be pusing the same CFM at a lower boost level.

Good luck!

I'm running the 60# mototrons
I have a CAS adjustable regulator so like mightmouse was saying in another thread that can make these in to 83's at the fuel pressure we are at
I'll be on 100 unleaded, I don't know where to find any 110 unleaded around here, I don't know if they sell it...

I just need to finalize my cam specs now......

I think a larger cam will for sure bleed off more boost than my 214/218 I have now

Id like to see you go with a cam alittle bigger then i am running now. Comp XER 230/236 .598/.608 on a 114+4. Befor ei decided on that cam Allen Futral told me to try a 236/242 .595/.605 on a 114 or 115 LSA so maybe try that one....... it will also let you spin the motor higher so you can use a smaller pulley that way to. I shift my cam at 6600 rpm.
