Default Anyone who installed a Procharger

Guys, I'm thinking about getting the P1SC kit for my 2K mile SS. I see this as a collectors car down the road.

My question is that ProCharger claims that the car can be returned back to stock...no cutting panels never even knew it was there. Is this true? I know for a fact that I want the 100% complete 4# kit which includes the in-line pump.

Someone care to quickly explain how a this pump is installed.

Any cutting or chopping of anything?

The only thing stopping me from doing this is the fact that my car could be possibly hacked up and have a 1/2 *** look.

All I can tell you is that my f-body is a hell of a lot more worth while with the P-1 on it...Enjoy your car man...life is way to short to let a great car rot away in a garage when you could be out enjoying it....just my opinion

If you use the stock fuel lines, then yes you can return everything back to stock. Some will cut the hole over the tank to drop an intank pump, but that's optional. You can always drop the tank, it just takes a lot more time. If you did the intank instead of the inline, then you wouldn't even notice the change.

The inline pump doesnt require anyhting, you will have to drill a few holes to mount it. You will have to cut your lower air dam and lower plastic radiator shroud piece but they are cheap and if you plan on putting your car back stock may want to buy those as spares before they stop selling them anymore

You will have to drill four 3/8 holes in the lower core support also for the intercoolers to bolt on, other then that there is no cutting ot hacking. I HIGHLY recommend staying away from the 4# setup with the FMU and getting a 7psi kit, fuel pump, 42lb injectors and take the car somewhere to get it tuned..

You have to drill two holes in the lower support to mount your intercooler. That is the only thing I can think of that can't be returned to original easily. You can always plug the holes up with grommets though

My recommendation is to go with the D1SC instead of the P1SC. The D1SC gives you room to grow..
