congrats Harlan!! Too bad you couldnt stay in it for the "good" 1/8th mile pass!! Would have been 8.7s for sure!!

I think you'll be crushing the record pretty soon (more boost off the line)

Obviuosly, that is a blast going down the track! How exciting is the slowdown prior to the return road? Some tracks I've been at is exciting slowing down from 120....couldn't imagine 160.....

Last pass was my fault, it dropped temperature so fast that the tire pressure went down below our magic number and to equalize the tires I had to let a little more air out then I wanted. Oh well, it let us know where things stood on the 60'. Time for a few more little tweaks in the suspension. So far the tires are sticking very well.

Yes John, the 28's a doing very well. But then again, it's only cutting 1.4's

We've been lucky to run at tracks with a LONG shutdown, so stopping has been ok. Those Strange brakes Billingsley set me up with are pretty damn good

Exhaust is about 18" long, 3.5" pipe right off the turbos

Nice, I finally saw the 8.82 the car looks fantastic and Milan looks like it's hooking great.

How high are you shifting, as high as you targeted before?

I'll have to double check the logs, but I had the light set for 7500. This motor likes to SPIN, every time I shift it higher it goes faster.

Too bad the valvetrain and rotating assembly is so heavy, otherwise I wouldn't think twice about spinning it to 8k. So far, it hasn't shown any signs of valve float. Might mess w/ the cam advance to try and shift the peak down a little if we can't get it to nose over in the upper RPM.

So far, the valvetrain hasn't been a problem. It was never really setup to spin that high is all. Asking for a spectacular show that high
