Gears with turbos...

Gears with turbos... What rear gears are good for a turbo M6 car? I am conciderring going with the STS kit and recently picked up some 4.10s. Will I benifit from these gears with the STS or any turbo kit for that matter? Or is a lower number gear better for this. I already have 3.42s in the car. Any feedback is appreciated.

Personally I'd keep your stock gears.
Turbo's need load to really work well so most people stay with high gear ratios like 3:42s and below.
Besides, you'll have better gas milage and you wont take the risk of breaking a 4.10 which is not the strongest gear set and you don't risk the ugly whine that some get when you swap. Just my opinions *shrug*

I took out my 3.42 and put in 3.23 gear with a 3900 lb car. I layed 30' of posi yesterday before I let off the gas........on the interstate at 60+ mph. You should leave the 3.42. The turbo will love him!!!! Mike laid down a 9.90 run with 3.50 gears
