Default APE Shop Car Getting Closer

We are using the same hood as Ray Sanchez (see this months GM High Tech) makes the car look damn tough. The interior is all but complete, and the driveline is coming together as we speak.

Shouldn't be long now, hopefully we'll be doing some shakedown passes by the end of September.

Pics Here
We'll be at Thunder for sure!!

Kyle, tomorrow I'm going to retouch up the motor with some black gloss, I have some detailing under the hood to do ( paint scratches, battery leak, etc ). Also the heads get bolted on tomorrow, I should have parts early next week to assemble the engine completely. Cam still to go in, front/rear covers, clutch, flywheel, etc. Possibly next weekend is when I'll drop it in. The last thing I plan to do is re-engineer the Incon inlet tubes . . . and then I'm done!

Oh wait ... then I have to tackle the sound system And add on who knows how much more weight. My car is gonna be close to 3900 with me in it as it is!

How is yours running Kyle? What was the last you dynoed at, and the latest timeslip with the new combo?

- Dug

Why start with a 'vert?

That's one big, gnarly shifter.
