Downshifting and SC Belts

Does anyone here with a Supercharger like to downshift?

Any negatives on belt setups and downshifting?
Anyone forced to change their shifting habits to prevent belts from jumping?

Nope none here with the SDCE kit....... i love romping it on the freeway backinto 2nd and instant boost and no more light belt dust then normal. There kit works.

Wish I could run their Tensioner setup. I have a C5 with a Vortech kit.

Just had a belt jump and think it happened on a mild downshift. I don't normally RPM match and just go by feel. I don't want to have to dance lightfooted around downshift RPM points, which I think is BS. I want the car to be able to handle any downshift. I just make sure I am never over-revving.

Anyone ever have a problem with a belt jumping when downshifting on other non-SDCE kits? Am ironing out some tensioner and belt issues right now.

I have a Vortech on my Z and no issues when down shifting at all could just be a fluke?

Thx. Just working thru belt issues here.
Have a new setup we're trying this week.

Glad noone else has any probs downshifting.

Vortec with cog set up on an LT1 car here, and I have had big probs throwing belts off, but can't figure out what is cuasing it all. ???

I have not had any problems loosing belts on downshifts (or any other time for that matter).
