good luck with your project, I'm sure you are happy that your car is making good power now.

Haha, yea I know but at the time when i bought the welder I wasn't planing on doing fab work. The welder can be used with sheilding gas I just never remember to pick up a bottle for it.

Thanks man, I was real happy with the power it made with the TTi kit, but because of back pressure issues it was killing my part throttle driving and ultimatly my engine would have gone. My rings already need to be replaced because of it.

It's coming along good. You will notice quite a bit of a difference just in how much more power the car has part throttle verus with the TTi kit. Off of a light, mine felt like it was going to stall out with the TTi kit compared to when it was N/A. With my custom kit it's pretty close to N/A feeling.

I really wish I had the $$ for a K-member, it frees up a ton of room... I also wish I had used a tangential exhaust housing.

Re: the spal fans, I have 2 12" pusher fans and though it's a tight fit, they work awesome! The 11" ones aren't far behind in cfm.... I hope you got the high-end ones? I just put spade connectors on the the wires and plugged them into the factory fan plugs. Another note, seal up top where the radiator and a/c are as air will go right through the condenser and out through the top without ever going through the radiator.... result is overheating.... ask me how I know.. he he. Also, I don't know how you are planning on running your cold side tubing, but keep the factory air damn. I removed mine and made a shorter one...... again the result was overheating on the highway as the damn wasn't long enough to direct air into the radiator.

As mentioned I highly recommend getting gas for your welder... I have the same one and the difference is night and day. Also, clean off any coating from the metal before welding. The aluminized tubing I was using looked horrible if I tried to weld through the coating.

I wish you luck with the storm coming through.... I just got back from the beach and you could tell it was coming.

.... and keep posting pics

Since you have to modify just about every part of that base TTi kit to make any power, it makes sense to just scrap it and start from scratch. It looks good so far!
