magnacharger
magnacharger has anyone ever tried to fit a magnacharger off of an ls1 vette on an f-body?
is it possible to fit that blower under the hood? i would like to know cause that would be something different.

has anyone actually measured that? it almost seems the magnacharger sits so far ahead on the engine that you might get it to fit with very little trimming to the plastic cowl peice if any.

We are a dealer for Magnacharger at the shop i manage, I talked at lenght with Ed Lauer, project manager at Magnuson, about just this installation. He said even using a smaller blower than the unit that comes with the C5 kit, it wont clear the cowl by over 2". Esentially, unless you hack the hell out of the cowl, its hopeless. 
The hood really isn't much of a problem, it's the actual cowl in front of the windshield. They tried in the past but couldn't get one under there.
