Default Heat soak issues with turbos?

I was just wondering, is there any heat soak issues with turbos? Heat soak is the main reason I removed the blower. In the summer time, it almost felt like there was no blower at all. Outside temps above 95 and 100, you could actually tell a difference between night and day. I know some of this is due to the Air/Air intercooler. Try to change to a smaller pulley and then you are fighting detonation and more heat.
Do turbos suffer the same fate. My buddy said that his GN had some heat soak issues but, nothing like a his blower on a Mustang. So I would like some other opinions and insights.
I know that even a NA car's power with go down with heat, does FI just make it more apparent?
Thanks alot.

P.S. I do not want to hear why one power adder is better than the other. I have heard that before.

all engines loose power due to high air temps.
it sounds like the set up was lacking a good intercooler.
i think that would solve the "heat soak" problems

A good intercooler pretty much gets rid of most of the heatsoak issues. The stock ATI intercooler is about as good as no intercooler at all. I upgraded my intercooler, and my IAT's barely even rise at all now. Compared to 60-70 degrees with the little ATI unit.

I had a upgraded intercooler. Dyno a motor serveral times quickly and the numbers are about the same. Dyno a blower several times quickly and watch the power go down, at least the ones I have seen. I was just wondering about the heat soak of a turbo. The turbo is always hot.
Again, I am not bashing blowers. I just didn't like the what Texas heat did to mine. In the winter, I loved every second of it.

Its not heat soak, it's just heat. My cars are noticably slower in the heat. Its much worse than N/A because you use ambient air to cool the compressed air.

At 90F, you're compressing 90F air, and cooling it with 90F air. A huge difference with 40F air.

Turbo or super, makes no difference. Its just the ambient.
